Group Home Manager Location:
Petersburg, IN The Arc Southwest Indiana is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Group Home Manager at our Peterburg location. As a Group Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities residing in our residential homes.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Operations:
Oversee the daily operations of our group homes, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
Resident Welfare:
Prioritize the welfare and comfort of our residents, providing personalized care and assistance.
Training and Education:
Offer guidance, training, and educational support to individuals, empowering them to engage in daily activities.
Supervision:
Lead and supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who provide direct care to residents.
Qualifications:
Compassion:
A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Communication:
Strong communication skills to collaborate with residents, families, and staff.
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. How to
