The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in long-term care management, with a strong background in nursing home administration, assisted living, and memory care services. As the NHA, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and operational excellence. Your leadership will foster a compassionate environment that prioritizes resident well-being and staff development. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to residents' needs, including Alzheimer's care and dementia support. Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to promote a cohesive team environment. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and adherence to healthcare standards. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, regulatory reporting, and quality assurance initiatives. Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control while ensuring optimal service delivery. Foster a safe, respectful environment for residents with developmental disabilities or those requiring memory care services. Collaborate with social workers and community partners to enhance resident engagement and transition planning. Skills Extensive experience in nursing home management or skilled nursing facilities. Proven supervisory skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and memory care best practices. Familiarity with developing individualized care plans for residents with complex needs. Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in operations management and budgeting. Ability to navigate regulatory requirements related to long-term care facilities confidently. Effective communication skills to interact with residents' families, staff members, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies. Working experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities or require home & community-based services is advantageous.
