Job Description
Job Summary Baruch Senior Ministries is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Administrator to lead our Fountain View of Coopersville facility in Coopersville, MI - a compassionate, resident-centered community dedicated to providing high-quality care and services to older adults. The Administrator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility's operations, including strategic planning, staff management, budgeting, compliance, and most importantly, creating an environment where residents feel valued, comfortable, and at home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for senior care, possess strong leadership abilities, and demonstrate a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of care and service for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff including caregivers, food service, and support staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and teamwork within the facility. Ensure that all team members are properly trained and have the resources they need to succeed.
Operational Oversight:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring that the facility meets all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality of care expectations. Implement and evaluate policies and procedures for resident care, daily operations, and staff performance.
Resident Care & Satisfaction:
Ensure that residents receive personalized care that respects their dignity, preferences, and needs. Monitor resident satisfaction and make improvements as necessary. Address resident and family concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the facility's budget, monitor financial performance, and ensure that operations remain financially viable. Implement strategies to optimize revenue while controlling costs. Assist in fundraising and securing resources to support the facility's mission.
Community Relations:
Represent the facility in the local community, including participating in outreach programs, building relationships with local healthcare providers, and promoting the facility's services.
Qualifications:
A passion for caring for our residents as they age. Bachelor's degree required - Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior living or healthcare management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to assisted living and long-term care. Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
