Qualifications Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Full Job Description Position Summary:

Under the immediate direction and guidance of a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and approved Preceptor, incumbent is in training to complete the requirements of the State to become a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Incumbent generally is in Administrator-in-Training position for 6-12 months.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Administrator in ensuring the quality and appropriateness of resident care meets or exceeds company and industry standards. Helps ensures compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, accreditation and reimbursement guidelines and stands. Aids in the preparation of the annual budget for facility. Participates in recruiting, hiring, providing orientation/training, and retaining a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out facility programs and services. Makes sure facility is a safe, clean, comfortable, and appealing environment for residents, visitors, and staff in accordance with company guidelines. Completes rotation/work assignments in each facility department as specified by the state AIT program. Ensures that all requirements of the AIT program are being met in a timely manner. Completes/submits any status reports required by the States Board of Examiners/Administrators in a timely manner. Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Required/Desired Qualifications:

Education, Training, and Experience Michigan Nursing Home Administrator License Completion of all education levels, forms and other requirements as governed by state regulations. Acceptance by the State Board of Examiners/Administrators to the AIT program.
