Qualifications:

Minimum education level: high school diploma Minimum of 1 year experience in residential care services Ability to complete training required for position Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise manner Ability to interact with peers in a positive and supportive manner Ability to provide supervision and leadership to staff Verification of health status relating to the job requirements Three references deemed acceptable to the agency Current and valid drivers license and acceptable driving record What will you do as an Assistant Manager?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As needed, fulfills basic duties of Direct Care Staff Screens, hires and supervise CLS site personnel, their training and performance. Organizes site staffing according to service authorizations and consumer needs. Develops implements, and supervises client services. Consults with contracting agency staff and service providers in assessing client needs, and arranges services as directed. Insures that client records, program data, site maintenance and financial records are updated regularly and meet established requirements. Manages and supervises the use of consumer funds, completing required reports monthly. Serves as the primary contact person for all communications with agency staff, parents and guardians, school and workshop staff, case worker and consultants. Insures that sites are maintained in a clean and homelike manner. Monitors agency vehicle use, records and maintenance to assure compliance with agency standards. Participates in agency Quality Improvement efforts. Maintains an awareness of agency and state regulatory agencies policies. Monitors and directs site compliance to these regulations.
