Exempt Salary:

Midwest Residential is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Executive Director to lead our assisted living community in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This leadership role is responsible for the overall operations of the community, ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and financial performance. What You'll Do Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the assisted living community. Ensure compliance with Minnesota Assisted Living regulations (144G) and all applicable state and federal requirements. Lead, coach, and develop department leaders and frontline staff. Foster a positive, resident-centered culture focused on dignity, quality of life, and exceptional service. Monitor quality indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor costs while maintaining excellent resident care. Partner with clinical leadership to ensure high-quality care and regulatory readiness. Oversee budgets, purchasing, and operational performance. Build positive relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and community partners. Maintain survey readiness and successfully navigate state inspections. Support occupancy goals through outstanding customer service and community engagement.

Qualifications Required:

Current Minnesota Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) credential. Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in assisted living, senior living, healthcare, or long-term care. Strong knowledge of Minnesota Assisted Living (144G) regulations. Proven ability to lead teams, coach employees, and drive accountability. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Experience leading successful state surveys. Budget management and financial oversight experience. Experience improving employee engagement, retention, and operational performance.
