LPN Nurse Supervisor for Assisted Living

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee the clinical operations of our residential care facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of resident care, assessment, and medication administration. This role requires a balance of compassion for residents and their rights. Responsibilities Manage the clinical operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Recruit, interview, hire, discipline, evaluate, lead, and manage staff while providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care for residents. Scheduling of all nursing staff. Must be willing to work along-side, and occasionally fill-in for the staff they are in charge of. Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring that all protocols are followed accurately. Assess potential and current residents for appropriateness to the facility. Communicate and round with medical providers. Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place for residents with varying needs, including those requiring dementia care. Will report to both Director of Nursing and Facility Manager. Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within an long term care facility. Experience supervising staff in a healthcare or residential setting, with a focus on resident care and teamwork. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and best practices in resident care is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for our residents while ensuring operational excellence within the facility.
