Company Overview Resource, Support & Development, Inc. (RSD Inc.) is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to providing community-based supports and services to adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Established in 1974, our mission is to empower individuals with special needs to make choices and expand their opportunities for growth and personal development across multiple communities. Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Home Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our residential care facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, assisted living, or long-term care environments, with a focus on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or memory care needs. This leadership role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with care standards, and fostering a safe, respectful environment where residents thrive. Responsibilities Oversee the operation of the group home, ensuring high-quality care aligned with individual care plans and regulatory standards. Supervise and support staff members, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations to promote a cohesive team environment. Develop and implement personalized care plans for residents, including Alzheimer's care, dementia support, and memory care strategies. Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to ensure efficient facility operations. Ensure medication administration accuracy and compliance with health and safety regulations. Foster positive relationships with residents' families and community partners to enhance resident well-being. Monitor resident progress and adapt care approaches as needed to promote independence and quality of life. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or long-term care. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervisory experience in residential or community-based environments. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and memory care best practices. Familiarity with developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs. Strong operational management skills including budgeting, staffing, and compliance oversight. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home & community care settings is highly desirable. Valid nursing license or relevant healthcare certification preferred; however, management experience in caregiving environments is essential. Join us as we lead compassionate teams dedicated to enriching the lives of residents through exceptional care and supportive leadership!
