Job Description

Resident Care Director Join Our Compassionate Team of Caregivers We are seeking a dedicated Resident Care Director to join our community and help us provide exceptional, person-centered care for our residents. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering trusting relationships with residents, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Cultivate and maintain positive resident and family relationships; address and resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism. Conduct initial, ongoing, and annual resident assessments. Oversee placement, admissions, and discharge processes for residents. Prepare and maintain individualized resident care plans and ensure compliance with state regulations. Supervise and support direct care staff in providing quality personal care and ADLs (Activities of Daily Living). Ensure accurate and timely documentation by staff. Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare providers to support resident wellness. Participate in on-call rotation with supervisory team. Work closely with the Administrator and Assistant Administrator to promote a positive, efficient, and compliant care environment. Qualifications Current CPR certification . Minimum 3+ years of experience working with geriatrics . Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care . Must meet all healthcare employment requirements. Successful completion of background check, social media screening, and initial/random drug testing. Skills & Attributes Proven leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams. Strong relationship-building skills with residents, families, and staff. High ethical standards with integrity, accountability, and professionalism. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills . Time management skills with a strong follow-up ability. Proficient in basic office and computer applications. Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards. Ability to multitask and remain composed in stressful circumstances. Friendly, approachable, and compassionate while maintaining structure and consistency. Why Join Us?
