Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead our 160 bed, long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations, and a passion for providing compassionate resident care. As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with industry standards, and foster a positive environment for residents and staff alike. Your role is vital in maintaining high-quality services while promoting operational excellence and organizational growth. Responsibilities Manage the overall operation of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including licensing requirements and safety standards. Lead efforts to maintain high standards of resident care by implementing policies that promote safety, dignity, and quality of life. Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations for staff members across various departments. Foster effective communication among residents, families, staff, and external agencies to promote transparency and trust. Monitor financial performance and develop strategies to optimize operational efficiency without compromising care quality. Promote a positive organizational culture that encourages teamwork, professional development, and continuous improvement. Skills Proven experience in healthcare administration within a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards relevant to nursing homes. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and build cohesive teams. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively. Effective communication skills for engaging with residents, families, staff, and regulatory bodies. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. A valid state administrator license is required. Pay:
$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
