Responsibilities:

Oversee the dietary department, ensuring compliance with NYSDOH regulations and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness Manage and supervise dietary staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents, including special dietary requirements and preferences Ensure accurate inventory management and efficient supply chain logistics Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events

Requirements:

1+ years of experience in a dietary management role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions Familiarity with NYSDOH regulations and standards for dietary services in assisted living facilities
