Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, with expertise in managing nursing homes and assisted living environments. This role requires a compassionate leader who is committed to providing high-quality care to residents, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, and dementia. The Nursing Home Administrator will ensure compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a positive environment for both residents and staff. Duties Oversee the overall operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, focusing on memory care and dementia care. Manage staff recruitment, training, and supervision to maintain a skilled workforce dedicated to resident care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective medication administration and health monitoring. Maintain financial oversight, including budgeting and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency. Foster relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns and promoting a supportive community atmosphere. Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery in long-term care settings. Coordinate activities that promote social engagement among residents while ensuring their safety and well-being. Qualifications Proven experience in nursing home administration • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively. Experience in operations management within healthcare settings is essential. Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial acumen related to facility management. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies. A commitment to providing compassionate care for individuals in long-term care environments.
