Senior Living Executive Director Location:
Forest Grove, Oregon Employment Type:
Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Executive Director to lead a senior living community in Forest Grove, OR. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall operations, financial performance, team leadership, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance of the community. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on senior living leader who enjoys building strong teams, developing relationships with residents and families, and creating a welcoming community where residents can thrive. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for the community and its team members. Ensure high-quality resident care, services, and daily operations. Lead, coach, and develop department leaders and community staff. Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain talented team members. Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and community partners. Monitor resident satisfaction and address concerns promptly and professionally. Oversee community financial performance, budgeting, labor management, and operational expenses. Partner with sales and marketing leadership to support occupancy growth and community outreach. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies. Maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and engaging environment for residents and staff. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and develop action plans when improvements are needed. Serve as the primary leader and representative of the community. Promote a positive workplace culture centered on respect, accountability, teamwork, and resident-focused service. Qualifications Previous leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare environment . Demonstrated experience managing teams and leading daily operations. Strong understanding of senior living operations, regulations, and best practices. Experience with budgeting, financial management, staffing, and performance management. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build trust and effective working relationships with residents, families, employees, and outside partners. A compassionate, professional, and resident-focused approach to leadership. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Must meet applicable Oregon licensing and regulatory requirements for the position. We are looking for someone who leads by example, holds themselves and their team accountable, and is passionate about creating a strong community culture. Senior living leadership experience is strongly preferred.
Pay:
$105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
