Oversees admission and care of residents, staff hiring, billing and finances, compliance with regulatory requirements and building maintenance. Maintains professional licensing requirements. Manages staff, recordkeeping, billing, finances, and other administrative work for a home health care program, where aides assist clients with personal, household and some health-related services in their homes.
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead the day-to-day operations at Auora Nursing and Rehabiliation Center located in Scottdale, Pennsylvania . As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing a 35 bed health center. Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) The primary purpose of this position is to manage the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities. The Administrator is also responsible for following all facility policies and applying them uniformly to all employees. They are expected to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is provided to our residents at all times.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist departmental directors in development and use of departmental policies and procedures, and establish rapport in and among departments so that each can realize the importance of teamwork. Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct facility's programs and activities. Assist in the development of written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the facility. Assist departmental directors in development and implementation of performance evaluations. Review facility's policies and procedures and make recommendations for changes to assure continued compliance with current regulations. Interpret facility's policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information in accordance with HIPAA, as well as facility's established personnel policies governing the release of information. Consult with department supervisors concerning staffing of their departments, eliminating/correcting problem areas and improving services Keep department directors informed of changes in facility policies and procedures. Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. Other related duties that may become necessary/appropriate to assure facility is in compliance with current laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning the operation of the facility. Supervise all department heads and administrative staff. Knowledge of and compliance with the Corporate Compliance plan. Additional responsibilities as required.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (health care or business administration preferred) Must be a Pennsylvania Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Experience managing a nursing facility/long-term care (Preferred)
