The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in long-term care, and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves managing daily home operations, ensuring quality care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The Home Manager will serve as a vital leader in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for residents with diverse needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's care, memory care, and dementia support. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of DDA homes, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents' needs. Supervise staff including caregivers, nurses, and support personnel to ensure high-quality service delivery. Manage medication administration in accordance with healthcare regulations and resident requirements. Coordinate resident activities to promote engagement, independence, and well-being. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to assisted living, nursing home standards, and long-term care facilities. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, and operational procedures. Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management of the home's operations. Foster positive relationships with residents' families and community partners to support resident quality of life. Lead staff training initiatives focused on dementia care, Alzheimer's support, social work practices, and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or group home management. Strong background in working with people with developmental disabilities and seniors requiring memory or dementia care. Knowledge of care plans development and medication administration procedures. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervisory experience in long-term or home & community care settings. Familiarity with operations management including budgeting and financial acumen. Experience in managing individual's needs while ensuring compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff, residents' families, and healthcare providers. Ability to handle complex situations involving Alzheimer's or dementia patients compassionately and professionally. Relevant certifications or licenses in nursing or social work are preferred but not mandatory depending on state requirements.
