Memory Care Director - Premier Senior Living If you are a passionate dementia care leader who loves being on the floor with your team rather than stuck behind a desk, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for. I am partnering with a premier senior living operator in an affluent area of Nashville looking for a dedicated Memory Care Director to lead their memory care and specialized cognitive programming. Backed by an established Executive Director and robust regional resources, you will bring leadership, stability, and true connection to a passionate care team.
The Role:
Champion the Program You won't just manage a schedule—you will set the standard for clinical and engagement excellence across a 25-unit secure memory care neighborhood and an innovative 'bridges' cognitive impairment program. Lead & Mentor from the
Front:
Directly supervise and coach ~30 caregivers and life enrichment professionals, modeling best practices during complex resident care situations.
Guide Families & Assess Needs:
Partner with clinical leadership to conduct cognitive assessments and guide families through crucial care transitions.
Educate & Inspire:
Deliver research-backed dementia education to new hires and ongoing staff across the community. What It Takes to
Lead Here The Background:
Bachelor's degree required; proven experience leading and coaching direct care teams in memory care or assisted living.
The Clinical Touch:
Familiarity with cognitive assessments (such as MMSE) and behavioral care approaches.
