Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of senior care, and a commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered services. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a safe, supportive environment for residents. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home management, or group home settings is highly desirable. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of care while managing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the facility, ensuring quality resident care and regulatory compliance Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS, Tennessee Department of Health, and Life Safety Code standards Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and staff to promote a culture of accountability and excellence Oversee financial performance, budgeting, census development, and expense management Collaborate with clinical leadership to maintain quality outcomes, survey readiness, and resident satisfaction Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, community partners, residents, and families Ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts Serve as the facility's primary representative during surveys, audits, and inspections
Qualifications:
Active Tennessee Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license required Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, Tennessee state regulations, and survey processes Proven leadership, financial acumen, and operational management skills Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
