Evening 2 p.m- 10 p.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Assess the needs for each individual resident and assist with those needs utilizing the appropriate resources.
- Assist with transfers and ambulation
- Assist with Bathing, toileting, grooming and hair washing as necessary for personal hygiene
- Assist with dressing or undressing of the client(s)
- Assistance, monitoring or prompting the client to complete the above items
- Occasionally may accompany client(s) to medical or social appointments
- Redirection, monitoring, observation and intervention for behavior that are integral part of a personal care plan in the above items
- Supervises the residents medications as needed.
- Orders and receives resident medication as necessary for residents participating in our medication management system.
- Assistance with medication per doctor's direction.
- Maintains good level of communication between all staff and residents as well as their family members.
- Reports any changes in residents behavior to supervisor.
- Reports any accident or incident immediately to supervisor.
- Reports maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Department.
- Reports dietary concerns to the Dietary Department.
- Tends to the needs and requests of the residents, family members, and visitors in a courteous and polite manner. Corresponds and serves residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort.
- Performs light housekeeping duties including but not limited to trash pick-up, laundry service and meal service.
- Adheres to instructions issued by Resident Care Manager.
- Attends required in-service training classes.
- Knows and understands the emergency procedures and the disaster plan for Golden Age Home and participates in fire drills.
- Demonstrates the ability to maintain good working relationships will all personnel.
- Supports the mission of Golden Age Home.
- All other duties as assigned.
