$32,136 annually About the Role Burke is seeking a compassionate and organized Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Oleta Group Home in Lufkin, TX. In this role, you'll lead residential staff while supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in living as independently as possible in a safe, supportive, and person-centered environment. You'll oversee daily operations, ensure quality care, maintain regulatory compliance, and work closely with consumers, families, medical providers, and the interdisciplinary team to help individuals achieve their personal goals. What You'll Do Oversee the daily operations of the group home Supervise, schedule, train, and support residential staff Implement and monitor Person Directed Plans and active treatment Ensure documentation and records are accurate and compliant Assist individuals with daily living skills and personal finances Coordinate required staff training and maintain employee timekeeping Ensure the home, agency vehicle, and Life Safety standards are maintained Communicate with families, medical providers, and interdisciplinary team members Provide transportation for individuals as needed What You Need Required High school diploma or GED At least six (6) months of continuous direct care experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Valid Texas driver's license with an insurable driving record Basic computer skills Ability to maintain confidential information and complete required documentation Preferred One (1) year of continuous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities One (1) year of supervisory, clerical, or administrative experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Work Schedule Monday - Friday, generally 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Schedule may vary based on consumer and program needs Must be available to work any shift during emergencies Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds Walk, stand, and assist individuals throughout the workday Drive agency vehicles as needed Ability to see, hear, communicate effectively, and perform tasks requiring hand and finger dexterity Why Burke?
