Pay:
Starting $100,0000 per year plus bonus opportunity
Scope of Supervision:
Supervises the community leadership team which include the: Community Life Team, Health and Wellbeing Team, Environmental Services Team and the Business, Education and Information Systems Team.
Role:
Manages the day-to-day operations of senior living community to ensure the maximum levels of resident, family and staff safety, wellness and satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Ensures resident safety at all times by embracing Culture Change and resident-centered philosophies. Responsible for high-quality care to all residents, including personal care, activities, nutritional services, medications, attention to psychosocial needs, and general oversight. Performs continuous, ongoing supervision of all leadership team members, including but not limited to recruiting, retaining, training, disciplining, counseling, motivating, scheduling and evaluating; establishes and builds rapport among team members to facilitate teamwork. Follows established company policies and procedures including all federal, state, and local regulations. Provide sound fiscal management, including effective management of monthly expenses, tracking and collection of accounts receivable and oversight of accounts payable and monthly cash flow. Develops annual budget and participates in strategic planning for key finance and operations areas. Provides oversight and direction for quality assurance/performance improvement; creates and maintains this process by assessing, auditing and providing improvement plans. Maintains positive relationships with residents and family members and ensures regular ongoing communication related to the physical, mental and emotional needs of the resident. Manages conflict, complaints and concerns with residents, family members, staff and others in a clear, thoughtful, direct and respectful manner that reflects the professional integrity of Juniper Management and Poets Walk at
San Antonio Requirements:
Valid Nursing Home Administrator's license in good standing (Preferred) Bachelor's Degree (Required) Previous management experience in healthcare or service-related field Knowledge of all applicable governmental regulations Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult
