Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential home for individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, social work, and assisted living, with a passion for providing quality care and support to residents.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall functioning of the residential home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents as needed
- Supervise and support staff in their daily duties
- Develop and implement individual care plans for residents
- Coordinate medical appointments and medication management
- Oversee housekeeping, meal preparation, and maintenance of the home
- Monitor budgeting and expenses related to the home's operations
Qualifications:
- Experience in care for individuals with intellectual disabilities, working with people with developmental disabilities, or social work
- Knowledge of assisted living regulations and best practices
- Background in nursing or healthcare is a plus
- Strong operations management skills
- Ability to effectively manage staff and prioritize tasks
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
