Mission:
The River Valley Therapeutic Residence (RVTR) aims to improve the health and well-being of Vermont's most vulnerable populations while focusing on psychiatric rehabilitation services and psychosocial treatment delivered in a recovery oriented, trauma informed, person-centered, holistic environment. The program offers a safe space to focus on recovery and community integration for those individuals no longer needing hospital level of care but who are not yet ready to transition back to the community. Environmental Factors Duties are performed largely in a residential setting although trips to meet with community providers and to visit patient living situations will occur, as well as community outings with residents. A valid driver's license is required for necessary travel. Although duties are normally performed during a regular weekday, daytime shift, specific case needs may require availability at other times. One-to-one interaction with acutely ill and/or behaviorally dysregulated clients is involved, creating a potential risk of physical injury for the Care Manager. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in a Mental Health related field
