Job Description

Sharon Care Center is looking for an experienced, energetic, and compassionate Executive Director to lead our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven senior living leader who wants to make a meaningful impact on residents, families, and staff while working as part of a strong campus leadership team. The Executive Director reports directly to the Campus Administrator, who oversees the entire Sharon Care Center campus, including the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This position works closely with department leaders throughout the organization and collaborates with shared services such as Dietary, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Central Supply, Activities, Social Services, and Nursing to ensure excellent resident care and operational success. Executive Directors in senior living are typically responsible for overall operations, regulatory compliance, employee leadership, resident satisfaction, and financial performance. [leaderstat.com], [bradleyharris.net] What You'll Do Provide leadership and oversight for Assisted Living and Memory Care operations. Build and maintain a positive, resident-centered culture. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. Coach, mentor, and develop department leaders and staff. Partner with admissions and marketing efforts to support occupancy growth. Maintain high standards for resident satisfaction, quality outcomes, and customer service. Collaborate with the Campus Administrator and other department heads on campus-wide initiatives. Monitor budgets, operational performance, and quality indicators. Serve as a trusted resource for residents, families, staff, and community partners. What We're Looking For Previous experience as an Executive Director, Administrator, or senior leader in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, or Senior Living. Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum 2-4 years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care preferred. Strong knowledge of operations, staffing, compliance, and resident care. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills. Ability to lead with accountability, compassion, and professionalism. Why Sharon Care Center?
