Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care management, with expertise in overseeing operations, ensuring quality resident care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for managing daily facility operations, supervising staff, and fostering a compassionate environment that prioritizes the well-being of residents. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities by providing high-quality assisted living and memory care services. Duties Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents, including those requiring Alzheimer's and dementia care. Supervise clinical staff to ensure proper medication administration, nursing care, and adherence to safety protocols. Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining operational efficiency. Foster a positive work environment through leadership, mentorship, and supervising staff members across various departments. Coordinate with social workers and healthcare professionals to support residents' social and emotional needs. Ensure the facility maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality of life for residents. Promote community engagement initiatives that enhance resident satisfaction and well-being. Skills Extensive experience in nursing home management or senior care settings with a focus on assisted living or retirement homes. Proven supervisory skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care programs, and developing personalized care plans. Familiarity with home & community care services as well as group home environments. Excellent financial acumen including budgeting, resource management, and operational planning. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home care environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and compliance standards within long-term care facilities. Exceptional leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills to engage staff, residents, and families effectively.
