This role ensures quality resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and employee engagement while fostering a culture of compassion and excellence. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations . Provide strong leadership to department heads and staff, promoting teamwork, accountability, and high-quality resident care. Ensure facility compliance with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and programs that support safe, efficient, and high-quality resident services. Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of staff to maintain adequate staffing levels. Monitor clinical and operational performance indicators, implementing corrective actions as needed. Manage budgets, financial reports, and census development to ensure fiscal responsibility and profitability. Serve as a liaison with residents, families, staff, medical providers, community agencies, and regulatory bodies. Promote resident rights and ensure a respectful, person-centered care environment. Lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives. Represent the facility at community events, building positive relationships to support referrals and admissions. Qualifications Current Wisconsin Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Previous experience as an LNHA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting strongly preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of SNF regulations, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, and survey processes. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
