POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for administering, directing and coordinating all activities of the skilled nursing facility to carry out its objectives in the provision of senior care and related services. Responsible for the overall operation of the facility, formulates plans and policies and allocates resources for the achievement of the objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Oversee fiscal operations, including planning budgets, authorizing expenditures, establishing rates for services, and coordinating financial reporting. Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of nursing, dietary, activities, housekeeping, social services and other personnel. Maintain communication between Executive Director, medical staff, department heads and facility staff. Review and analyze facility activities and data to aid planning and cash and risk management to improve service utilization. Participate in the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures for the facility or unit, as well as organization wide through participation on the Senior Leadership Team Manage change in integrated health care delivery systems, such as work restructuring, technological innovations, and shifts in the focus of care Maintain awareness of government regulations, industry changes, and financing options including reimbursement changes. Establish objectives and evaluative or operational criteria for units managed. Prepare activity reports to inform management of the status and implementation plans of programs, services, and quality initiatives. Inspect facilities and assist in recommending building or equipment modifications to ensure emergency readiness and safety regulations. Consult with medical, business, and community groups to discuss service problems, respond to community needs, enhance public relations, coordinate activities and plans, and promote services provided. Actively participates in strategic planning initiatives including progressive resident services. Supports the Mission, Vision, and values of Woodside Senior Communities. Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment. Observes care in ensuring the confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee, and operations data as required by
HIPAA/HITECH
regulations. Abides by all applicable statutes and regulations through compliance with the Woodside Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program. Completes requirements for in-service training. Completes other tasks and duties as assigned, including periodic projects that incorporate accounting and bookkeeping skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3-7 years of related experience Must have Wisconsin Nursing Home Administrator license or be eligible to obtain such license Must have Microsoft Office skills
