About the Opportunity The Director of Cardinal Ridge Sturgeon Bay is responsible for the overall day to day direction of the assisted living facility. He/she is responsible for establishing standards of care to comply with federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. The Director works with the Administrator as well as caregiving staff to provide our residents with the best care. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to lead in a positive effective manner. Duties and Responsibilities Schedule employees to fill staffing vacancies, meet our Residents needs and to maintain staffing requirements, i.e., with call-ins, picked-up shifts, and arrangement of hours. Ability to exhibit positive attitude and provide constructive feedback. Keeps attendance records and assisting with the progressive disciplinary process if staff members accrue excessive absences and/or tardiness. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to internal and external customers, including our residents and their families. Continue to improve processes and fulfill other outcomes to meet organizational goals. Possess physical aptitudes and capabilities that will enable performance of the essential functions of the job including ability to stand, pull, push, hear, see, kneel, walk, grasp, reach, and lift at least 40 pounds. Maintain the confidentiality of member information and protected health information (PHI)as required by State and Federal regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years healthcare experience Outstanding leadership, managerial skills. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and assertiveness skills. Schedule 8 hour shift Monday to Friday On call Weekend availability
