Job Description:
The University of South Alabama (USA) invites applications for the position of Associate Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program. This is an in-person, on-site position with regular on-campus presence, teaching and service are required. This full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track, Assistant Professor to start on July 1, 2026.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in nursing; Current CRNA certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA); Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in Alabama; Minimum of 5 years of current practice as a CRNA; Highly engaged educator and clinician committed to academic excellence, innovation in nurse anesthesia education, and mentorship of future CRNAs. Evidence of formal instruction in curriculum, evaluation, and instruction.
