Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated CNA Instructor/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our educational team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs for aspiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). You will leverage your clinical expertise and teaching skills to inspire adult learners, ensuring they acquire the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies required for successful certification and professional practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact future healthcare professionals through engaging instruction, curriculum development, and adherence to educational standards. Duties Deliver engaging classroom and online instruction tailored to adult learners pursuing CNA and LVN certification programs. Develop, update, and implement curriculum that aligns with current healthcare regulations, industry standards, and best practices. Incorporate educational technology tools and learning platforms to enhance remote training sessions and classroom experiences. Facilitate hands-on clinical practice sessions, ensuring students gain practical skills in a safe, supportive environment. Assess student performance through examinations, practical demonstrations, and ongoing evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing healthcare education programs; ensure all training activities meet accreditation standards. Support students from diverse cultural backgrounds by creating inclusive learning environments that respect different perspectives and learning styles. Skills Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and educational compliance requirements. Proficiency with learning technology platforms, online instruction tools, and educational software applications. Experience in curriculum development tailored to adult education audiences in healthcare fields. Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate adult learners in both virtual and in-person settings. Demonstrated ability to design engaging lesson plans that incorporate educational technology integration for effective teaching. Skilled in working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds to foster an inclusive learning environment. Effective communication skills for instructing, mentoring, and providing feedback to students of varying experience levels. Prior experience in university or higher education settings is preferred; classroom experience with adult education is essential.
