Position Description Summary/Purpose :
The Department of Nursing at Goodwin University is seeking a Masters prepared Registered Nurse to serve as a full-time Faculty/Course Coordinator for the pediatric portion of NUR 210 for the Associate Degree Nursing Program beginning Fall, 2026. Individual will teach other didactic and asynchronous content courses as needed per semester for any undergraduate nursing program at Goodwin University. We are seeking applicants whose teaching responsibilities will include laboratory, clinical and classroom, teaching. This is a three-semester appointment with time off at the end of each semester.
Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities :

This individual will: Teach and evaluate students on the didactic pediatric content of NUR 210 for full semester to two different groups of students Facilitate the clinical experience in pediatric clinical settings Provide oversight of all pediatric clinical adjunct faculty Facilitate the clinical experience in the laboratory and help to coordinate the clinical placements for pediatrics Review and provide weekly feedback to students about their clinical performance and paperwork Compile course grades, evaluation and feedback data, course outcomes, ATI data per semester for timely submission Monitor student program expectations with clinical attendance, timeliness of assignments, academic integrity and provide immediate feedback to students in accordance with applicable policies Provide active office hours for student connection, individual tutoring, test support, assignment feedback per week as required Complete a midterm and final evaluation for each student Work with clinical coordinator on pediatric clinical placement per semester Successful applicants will be expected to participate in departmental and University committees and contribute to student retention. Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Ability & Skill :
Demonstrated evidence of commitment to scholarly activities and service in the profession. Excellent teaching, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Qualifications Prepared at the MSN level 3-5 years of pediatric nursing experience with a firm understanding of developmental milestones Teaching experience with RN students is preferred An active license or eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Connecticut. Clinical expertise in one or more of the following areas:
