The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in higher education teaching and demonstrate expertise in curriculum development and instructional design. This role involves delivering engaging course content, mentoring students, and contributing to the overall academic success of our institution.
Pay:
Each class is 5 weeks long. Compensation is $2,000.00 per class. Responsibilities Develop and implement a course curriculum that aligns with program objectives and learning outcomes. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to facilitate online learning and manage course materials. Conduct research relevant to the subject area and integrate findings into course content. Employ various teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote student engagement. Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students. Provide academic advising and support to students, fostering their educational development and success. Mentor students through their academic journey, offering guidance on coursework and career pathways. Design lesson plans that incorporate current trends in the field and utilize learning technology effectively. Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in the relevant field from an accredited institution is preferred. Proven experience in higher education teaching, with a focus on adult education, is highly desirable. Strong background in curriculum development, instructional design, and classroom management. Familiarity with LMS platforms, particularly Blackboard, is essential for effective course delivery. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
