Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and guide students in didactic or clinical settings, ensuring safe and effective patient care. Demonstrate professional conduct and model best practices in nursing care. Provide instruction on nursing skills, procedures, and clinical judgment in various healthcare environments. Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and complete evaluations in accordance with curriculum and standards. Collaborate with lead faculty and clinical site staff to ensure a positive learning experience. Ensure compliance with national, state, and program policies and procedures, as applicable to the teaching site. Maintain accurate records of attendance, student progress, and competency evaluations.Schedule and Hours:
Part-time, flexible schedule based on course requirements or clinical site availability and program needs. Clinical teaching may include shifts on weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends. Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing (preferred) or BSN. Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana. Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience (hospital, clinic, or community health preferred). Previous teaching or precepting experience preferred. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Required Applicant Materials:
