Job Description:
Part-Time Clinical Instructor, Foundations of Nursing Nurse Education Program, Health Professions Fall Semester 2026
Days/Time:
Thursday and Fridays; 6:30 am or 7:00 am to 11:30 am or 12:00 pm
SALARY:
$72.45 per hour BSN, $80.73 per hour MSN or higher degree, non-benefited position. At this time, the College is not providing sponsorships for Visas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prepare clinical assignments prior to clinical learning experience Instruct and Supervise nursing students in the clinical setting Evaluate student learning assignments and provide constructive feedback Complete formative and summative student evaluations Communicate with Course Team Leader on a weekly basis regarding student issues Complete program and clinical orientation Perform other duties associated with the position.
Job Requirements:
MA Registered nurse license in good standing. Master's degree in Nursing with a minimum of 2 years full time nursing employment in the last 5 years. or Baccalaureate degree in nursing with a minimum of five years full-time Registered Nurse experience within the last eight years, BSN faculty must be matriculated in a graduate nursing program within one year of appointment with an expected graduation date within five years of the date of matriculation; or - obtain a current Nurse Education certification by a Board recognized certifying organization within three years of appointment. An earned Master's degree in Nursing is preferred. Possesses a minimum of two (2) years full-time experience in nursing, or its equivalent, within the last five (5) years Evidence of competence in clinical area of Fundamentals & Medical Surgical Nursing BLS Health Provider Level certification from AHA required. Candidate must clear a 10-panel urine drug screen per clinical placement policy as a condition of employment. Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment. Candidate must have up to date DPH required immunizations for health care workers Preferred Qualifications Previous clinical instruction experience Experience with high fidelity and virtual simulation.
