Responsibilities:

Instruct students in the classroom, lab, and/or clinical setting Promote a positive learning environment Work collaboratively to assure full implementation of the curriculum Participate as members of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees Recommend strategies for student success Tutor students to assist in meeting course objectives Implement the clinical experience component of the program, if applicable Evaluate each student's achievement and progress and provide valuable feedback

Requirements:

A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) At least three years full-time in the practice of nursing as a Registered Nurse or part-time equivalent Active, unencumbered licensure in the State of MI as a Registered Nurse Current American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

General Credentialing Requirements:

Applicants selected and receiving an offer of employment will be required to complete key credentialing requirements for clinical placements prior to being cleared for start. Full detailed information is provided at time of offer.

A summary of requirements includes:

Providing copies of official transcripts for all degrees earned Providing a copy of current American Heart Association BLS or

ACLS CPR

card Completion of a physical form (from within the last 12 months) Immunization documentation for: Hepatitis B MMR TDAP/Tetanus TB (2 step) Varicella FLU (October 1 - April 1 hires)
