Job Description
The Oakland University School of Nursing seeks multiple full-time Visiting Instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses, clinical rotations, and/or lab/simulation based on expertise. Candidates must hold (or be eligible for) Michigan RN licensure and a master's or doctoral degree in nursing. Preferred applicants will have specialty expertise in areas such as acute care, OB, pediatrics, mental health, leadership, or simulation, along with prior teaching experience. Strong communication skills, community engagement, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion are essential. Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Michigan, or eligibility for licensure in the state, and a master's or doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, DNSc, or equivalent) in nursing from an accredited institution
