Job Description

Position can be assigned to any of the following campuses (will prioritize preference): North Plainfield, NJ Plainfield, NJ Bridgewater, NJ Scotch Plains, NJ We are looking for a skilled Nursing Instructors with long term care and bedside experience to join our Elite Team. The ideal candidate has significant experience teaching both clinical and professional skills in a nursing setting, and has also demonstrated a commitment to clinical excellence in the areas of cultural diversity, impairments and special populations. The successful candidate will have an active interest in educating students about evidence-based practice and research findings. This position requires an individual who is able to work effectively with both faculty and students to ensure the success of our program.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a knowledge of healthcare standard policies and procedures. Responsible for all classes and clinicals; may be asked to take on added class responsibilities. Foster a safe and caring environment. Able to adapt to advance technologies used within the classroom/labs. Maintain interpersonal relationships with all direct reports; team work is essential. Communicate in a non-threatening, non-judgmental manner while still maintaining high expectations. Must be able to multi-task and work with minimum oversite. Must be able draft and enforce course outlines along with training schedules
