• FY 2027 Job Description Responsibilities of a part time Welding Technology Instructor include but are not limited to: Lecture and Lab instruction for Welding Technology courses Demonstrate and assist students with lab procedures and ensure adherence to safety precautions Develop syllabi and course materials.

Instruct students in accordance with curriculum standards and objectives Independently evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes Make necessary provisions to meet learning needs Provide advisement to students Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested Required Qualifications 5 years of work-related experience. Preferred Qualifications

CWE, CWI, SCWI, NDT

Certifications, NCCER Instructor Credentials, OSHA 10, 30 Welding Technology degree One year equivalent full time teaching experience Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce Knowledge of computer classroom technologies Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.

Schedule:

Welding Technology courses are taught at the CSN Henderson Campus, in-person and are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends

Salary Information:
