Practical Nursing Instructor

Mildred Elley, a Middle States Commission on Higher Education accredited college, is seeking full-time, part-time, and per-diem Practical Nursing Instructors for Lecture and Labs at the Albany, NY campus. Teaching Schedule Day, Evening and/or Weekend classes Responsibilities Student Learning & Evaluation Course Development & Assessment Faculty Leadership & Collaboration Demonstrate professional nursing leadership Utilize effective problem-solving and decision-making strategies Required Qualifications A master's degree in nursing from a program with institutional accreditation, or a Bachelor's degree seeking a master's degree in nursing. Active, unencumbered NY RN license Minimum of 5 years of Registered Nursing experience in varied clinical areas, caring for patients across the lifespan Current CPR Certification Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, concisely, and accurately; friendly, persuasive speaking and writing style. Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience in nursing education Experience using educational technology Demonstrated leadership ability in clinical and academic settings

Pay:

$34.00 - $45.00 per hour
