Specialty areas:
Fundamentals, Pediatrics, Parent-Child, Medical-Surgical, Psychiatric, and Community Health.
Current openings in all programs:
Traditional Day and Evening, Accelerated Day and Weekend Requirements Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in specialty area required. Recent hospital experience required for Medical-Surgical courses. Demonstrated current clinical competence (certification) in the specialty area; clinical practice within the previous five years preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required (those currently enrolled in an MSN program may be considered) Current, unencumbered New York State RN license required; New Jersey State RN license preferred but not required. Dominican University New York , located in Orangeburg, New York, is 17 miles north of New York City and serves approximately 1,400 students with a faculty and staff of 400.
