Job Description:
Onondaga Community College invites applications for potential Nursing adjunct positions in an ACEN accredited Associate Degree Nursing program.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include teaching: Nursing theory. Clinical instruction and evaluation. Lab instruction and evaluation. Turning in grades on time.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
An earned Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency Current NYS RN registration and CPR certification. Three (3) years current acute care experience in the field. Must be able to assist students with bedside nursing care and have broad experience with current and evolving health technology. Advanced computer skills are also required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.
Additional Information:
Adjunct rate of pay for the 26/27 academic year is $1,527/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment. Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
