Summary Teaches and supervises nursing students in classroom and clinical settings and contributes to the professional development of nursing students. Demonstrates integrity, stability, imagination, and discriminative judgment in instruction of nursing students. Contributes to the research and development of the educational program. Job Duties Creates an environment in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings that facilitates student learning and achievement of desired cognitive, affective, and psychomotor outcomes. Assists students to develop as nurses and integrates the values and behaviors expected of those who fulfill that role. Uses a variety of strategies to assess and evaluate student learning in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
