Qualifications :
Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing required . Must have a current Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania and have nursing experience involving direct patient care within the last two years required . A baccalaureate degree, preferably in nursing, with additional preparation for teaching appropriate to the teaching of practical nursing. A minimum of two years of experience as a nurse educator is preferred. Experience with simulation-based learning/virtual simulation is preferred. In addition, applicant shall give evidence of maintaining expertise in medical surgical, maternal child health and/or geriatric clinical area. Current, within one year, police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required.Duties & Responsibilities :
Applicants will be responsible for classroom, clinical and clinical simulation instruction and supervision of the students enrolled in the practical nursing program. Organizing and coordinating the Skills labs at TCHS Brandywine and TCHS Pickering campuses. Responsibilities may include day and evening assignments, inclusive of the summer months. Assists in formulating policies for the selection and promotion of students. Plans, develops and implements diverse teaching strategies aimed at facilitating achievement of student learning outcomes and overall program outcomes. 2026-2027Professional Salary Schedule :
