The Department of Nursing at Robert Morris University invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor. The position is a 12-month full-time faculty appointment to include additional responsibilities as Coordinator for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program. The candidate will primarily teach psychiatric mental health courses in the undergraduate and graduate nurse practitioner programs.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to student success and effectively employ teaching-learning practices using a variety of content delivery formats (including on-ground, online, and distance education). As a program coordinator, the candidate will assist the nursing administration team with providing effective program oversight and leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a graduate degree in nursing with a doctoral degree in nursing or education or related field. An active unencumbered Pennsylvania or multi-state RN license and national certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner are required. Experience with curriculum development, program evaluation and teaching in higher education are preferred. Act 153
