No Commission 20.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Clinical Nursing Faculty - Part-Time, Appointment-Stream Instructors of Nursing , beginning Fall 2026 at The University of Pittsburgh at Titusville The University of Pittsburgh at Titusville is currently seeking qualified applicants for part-time, appointment-stream stream Instructors of Nursing in the Division of Biological & Health Sciences, beginning Fall 2026 in the following areas: § Medical/Surgical Nursing § Maternal/Obstetric Nursing §

Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing Requirements:

MSN or higher degree in nursing with at least one year's nursing experience with a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates. Candidates must hold a current unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state (dual licensure in NYS preferred). Possess appropriate clearances• and BLS certification or be able to obtain these prior to the start of employment and be able to perform the duties of a registered nurse. Show evidence of or the potential for excellence in clinical and/or classroom teaching and contribute to a learning environment that values evidence-based practice. Experience teaching at the university or collegiate level is preferred. •

Child Protection Clearances:

The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks are required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

Responsibilities:

Applicants must be able to teach in-person in the Associate of Science in Nursing Program at the undergraduate level, including didactic, lab, and clinical settings. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience. Candidates who are experienced working with college students from diverse backgrounds and have applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.
