Clinical Faculty, Nursing (QE8894) South Dakota Board of Regents - 3.0 Sioux Falls, SD Job Details Full-time 11 hours ago Qualifications RN License Master's degree in nursing Master's degree Master of Nursing Full Job Description Working Title Clinical Faculty, Nursing (QE8894) Posting Number F01889P Department USD-Nursing Physical Location of Position (City) Sioux Falls Posting Text The Department of Nursing at the University of South Dakota (USD) is seeking applications for a full-time clinical nursing faculty member at the Sioux Falls campus. This is a 9-month, full-time position that provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and development of future nurses in a supportive and dynamic academic environment. The faculty member will be responsible for providing clinical instruction predominantly in direct patient care clinical, simulation and lab setting for pre-licensure students. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Responsibilities:
Clinical teaching in direct patient care, lab and simulation. Evaluation of student learning. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Contribution to departmental service activities.
Required Qualifications:
Current unencumbered nursing license, eligible for licensure in South Dakota. Minimum of a master's degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program by August 18, 2026.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong nursing background with experience in medical-surgical nursing. Experience teaching in a baccalaureate of higher degree program. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to work with technology. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
