Northgate Health and Rehabilitation Center - Bessemer, Alabama Northgate Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a strong and experienced Unit Manager (RN) to oversee clinical operations on an assigned unit. This role also includes treatment and infection prevention responsibilities , making it a key position in driving quality care, compliance, and strong clinical outcomes. If you are a hands-on nurse leader who can manage a team while staying closely involved in clinical care, this is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role.

What You'll Do:

Oversee daily clinical operations on assigned unit Supervise and support nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Ensure high-quality resident care and compliance with care plans Provide and oversee wound care and treatments Monitor skin integrity, wounds, and treatment progress Lead infection prevention and control efforts within the facility Track and report infections, trends, and outcomes Educate staff on infection control practices and protocols Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Support survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on resident care

What We're Looking For:

Active RN license in the state of Alabama Skilled nursing or long-term care experience required Experience with wound care and treatments preferred Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment Northgate Health and Rehabilitation Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
