Job Description
Overview Perform audits of all Main and Madison ED accounts to identify appropriate E/M level, supply charges, pharmacy charges and CPT coded procedures for services provided in the ED's; manual charge entry for appropriate charges based on Cerner documentation; perform audits of ED charts and accounts to determine charge corrections; processes appropriate charge corrections on accounts; provides required information regarding drug charge discrepancies to appropriate Pharmacy personnel. Qualifications Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required 3 years clinical experience in a hospital or physician office setting Effective communication skills with internal hospital departments. Must be able to effectively and accurately manage a large volume of medical records Education/Licensure/Certifications High school diploma or GED required Alabama nursing license (RN or LPN) preferred Prior clinical experience will be considered in lieu of license Experience Prior medical experience preferred.
