Full-Time or Part-Time Weekend Position Rotating Weekends Available Position Summary Fair Haven Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight within our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The Weekend Supervisor is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, supporting nursing staff, maintaining quality resident care, and assisting with clinical duties as needed. This role serves as a key resource for staff, residents, families, and providers during weekend shifts. Essential Responsibilities Provide supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff during weekend shifts. Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the nursing department and resident care services. Monitor resident care to ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and quality standards. Assist with clinical duties as needed, including assessments, treatments, medication administration, admissions, and responding to changes in resident condition. Serve as a resource for nurses, nursing assistants, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to coordinate resident care. Address staffing concerns and assist with scheduling adjustments when necessary. Complete and review clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance. Participate in incident investigations, follow-up actions, and quality improvement initiatives. Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, resident satisfaction, and excellent customer service. Ensure resident rights, dignity, and safety are maintained at all times. Qualifications Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Long-term care or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferred. Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
