Supervisor Support Nurse Talladega Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor Support Nurse to join our clinical leadership team. This position plays a vital role in supporting nursing operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to clinical excellence, staff development, and positive resident outcomes. Position Summary As a Supervisor Support Nurse, you will provide leadership and clinical oversight to nursing staff while promoting the highest standards of care. Working closely with nursing leadership, you will help coordinate daily operations, support regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff during daily operations. Promote and maintain excellence in resident care and customer service. Assist with staff supervision, coaching, training, and professional development. Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and clinical best practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes and quality initiatives. Monitor documentation for accuracy and compliance using EMR/EHR systems. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff. Support quality assurance, infection prevention, and risk management initiatives. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and resident satisfaction. Qualifications Current and active nursing license in the State of Alabama. Previous leadership, supervisory, or charge nurse experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Experience with long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or hospital settings. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems, including Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms. Experience with IV therapy, catheterization, and clinical procedures. Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills. Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
