Guides staff in the advancement of their education and leadership skills, particularly team building, conflict resolution, and delegation. Schedules days to day activities i.e., breaks, sending people home, etc. Coordinates and participates in assuring completion of the orientation competency checklist for new hires and annual competencies for all employees. Manages employee performance by participating in evaluation process and coaching. Assists the Director with special projects as delegated. Conducts staff meetings as needed.

Special Skills:

Must be able to work under deadlines. Must be able to utilize independent decision-making skills in a wide variety of situations. Requires a high degree of accuracy in the performance of varied responsibilities. Personal computer skills required. Frequent contact with employees, physicians, customers, community individuals and volunteers. Must be self-motivated to complete work in a timely manner to meet deadlines.

Experience and Certification:

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Nursing Degree from an Accredited Nursing School or Bachelor Degree in Nursing.

PREFERRED EDUCATION

Master Degree.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Three years relevant clinical nursing experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Two years management/supervisory experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE

Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona. CPR required.
